You’ve booked your photo shoot with me! You’re excited…and then you think about outfits and you start stressing.
Please don’t stress about your outfits – I’m here to help! I’ve got a few tips for how to make choosing what to wear as painless as possible.
Be Yourself
You can go and purchase new underwear if you like, but don’t go buy an over the top lacy set if you’re a Bonds kind of girl.
Don’t Limit Yourself To Underwear
Feel free to think outside the box when it comes to your outfits! Oversized cardigans, sweaters and robes can all be beautiful additions to your outfits. They’re also a great way to ease yourself into the shoot without having to be only in your underwear to begin with.
Be Comfortable
It’s easy to choose an outfit that you like the look of but you actually hate wearing. It’s obvious if you’re uncomfortable, so choose things that make you feel good when you put them on.
Make Sure Clothes Fit Well
This is VERY important. Please don’t wear things that are too small and cut into your skin.
Simple Is Best
If it’s a choice between plain and patterned, go plain…unless, of course, you always wear big bold prints! Being yourself comes before simplicity.
Naked Is Good
If you’re up for it go nude, nothing looks better than your skin.
If in doubt and you’re really stressing out about this, just send me an email and I’m happy to help 🙂
