Many of you know that in the Thorson household we have a tradition of eating mexican food and watching B grade “mega” movies….like Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus or Mega Piranha. The only criteria for these movies is that there must be a giant prehistoric animal of some kind and that the star of the movie must be a washed up 80’s pop star…like Tiffany. The other important part to these movie nights is that we must always have them with Rob & Liz, so when they got engaged and asked me to be their wedding photographer I was super excited and only a little disappointed that the wedding wasn’t going to be mega shark themed.

It was an amazing wedding for a couple of different reasons 1. the people (Rob & Liz are two of my favourites), 2. the food (they got caterers from Sydney and it was totally worth it) and 3. the location (Redbrow is always beautiful). But probably my favourite moment of the day was when Rob put on his horse mask, originally we were going to try and find a horse to have photographs with (cause saying Liz loves horses is the understatement of the year) but unfortunately it didn’t work out. Thankfully Rob stepped in and was the horse we always wanted, it ended up being hilarious and super creepy at the same time…I may have almost thrown up from laughing so hard.

Thanks Rob & Liz for letting me take your wedding photos and for being super good looking! Also thanks to Caleb for being “fake Rob” in the family photos when Rob disappeared and for holding my off camera flash, you’re the best husband ever.
