Tash & Daniel got married a couple of weeks after I gave birth and I was lucky enough to photograph their location, but physically I wasn’t up to being there for the whole day. I was bummed I couldn’t spend more time with these two cause they’re pretty much the nicest ever! But thankfully I have the amazing Annika who took my place and she was assisted by my buddy Tess. Here is what Annika had to say about the day –
“So you know how you have those days where everything that could go wrong goes wrong? For me Tash and Daniel’s wedding day was one of those days. From car dents to spectacular face planting stacks. Sometimes when you have those days it becomes the worst day ever- but this wedding day was just too amazing to be spoiled by anything (and luckily all the Annika-drama stayed clear of the actual wedding) Daniel couldn’t stop the happiness from beaming out of his face all day and Tash was just the most glamorous sweetheart you could imagine.
They were married at St John the Apostle church in Kippax, followed by photos on a little reserve in Macgregor, where they trekked down beneath a dingy looking underpass with Amanda and I for some amazing photos- you guys were such troopers (Daniel still continuously beaming) and the reception followed at the National Press Club.
Tash & Daniel you were such a pleasure to photograph, thanks for choosing us to rock your photos! Thanks to Tess for second shooting like a dream (and for literally picking me back up when I was down)”
