When Katie & Jez, the amazing photography duo behind Heartstory, asked me to take their birth photos I was totally flattered and more than a little bit nervous!
Katie went past her due date by over a week. All you parents out there know what that means…induction. She had opted to go through the Birth Centre with a intervention and drug free birth being the goal so having to be induced was more than disappointing. But Katie was AMAZING and she just rolled with it, using all the skills she had learned to birth calmly.
Katie & Jez, thank you so much for asking me to document and witness August’s entrance into the world! Watching the two of you together it’s clear that you’re a team. You guys loving on each other made me cry more than once.
